Pre- to Post-Flood Boundary?

Disagreements on the post-Flood boundary: a reason to doubt biblical creation?

This article enumerates as possible boundaries:

  • Neogene-Quaternary
  • Kretaceous-Palaeogene
  • Late Cenozoic
  • Early Cenozoic
  • Variable in the Cenozoic

I would reject all of these as spurious and plead for another view.

  • Younger Dryas is Post-Flood and immediately Pre-Babel
  • any assured Ice Age remains is Post-Flood (I don't agree Neanderthals or Woolly Rhino are from any ice age, and I believe they are pre-Flood)
  • anything below lava dated by K-Ar to millions of years usually pre-Flood, and if directly under lava, immediately so
  • iridium layer is from Flood (or possibly Younger Dryas) whether considered as "K-P boundary" or as "P-T boundary"
  • any column of sea biota from different levels of "geologic column" is from immediately pre-Flood
  • carbon fourteen has a Flood date of 40 000 BP, perhaps a bit more recent
  • dinos can be either post- or immediately pre-Flood, if post-Flood it was probably landslides that buried them.

As for the "levels" of the geologic "column" alluded to above, the classification of land biota determines the "time assignment" of the layer, and there is in each place usually one layer, unlike the actual columns of sea biota. So, in Karoo, the immediate pre-Flood biota are classified as Permian, Triassic and Jurassic. Not depending on depth in the soil, but depending on "assemblage zones" that differ geographically (Karoo is a very big area, though not as big as Yellowstone).
